September 11th Fonmon Castle (CF62 3ZN) Close to Cardiff Airport, is one of the few mediaeval Castles which is still lived in as a home. It was built in c1200 and has wealth of history with stunning Georgian interiors with extensive gardens. This event has been organised by John Powell of the (DLOC) and we are invited to join them. There will be guided tour of the castle at 11.30a.m. followed by two course buffet lunch at 1.00p.m. Total cost £18.75. Please advise Robin Wayne, Tel: 01792 232944 if you plan to join us.

September 18th This is the 31st Annual Vintage and Specialist Rally at Tredegar House, in aid of Leukaemia Research, at which the Welsh Section has stand. Forms would have been sent to those who attended last years rally, but you will note in the editorial details of contacting Roger Wood on 01633 891262. November 1st First Tuesday Lunch at Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli, SA15 4HA. Another popular venue to revisit. Well sign posted off the M4. Kindly organised by Rodger Morgan Tel: 01554 755770 if plan to join us. Rodger will also give you directions to the hotel.

December 4th Sunday. Our annual Christmas Lunch. This year we have new venue, New House Hotel, Thornhill, Cardiff, CF14 9UA. Slips will be sent out in the winter magazine for you to fill in and return to the treasurer with your cheque.

December 6th. First Tuesday lunch at El Prados, Laleston, Bridgend, CF32 OLD. El Prados needs little introduction, but for new members it is situated on the A48 at Laleston. Kindly organised by Harry Jones, Tel: 029 20 568020 if you plan to join us.
